This past weekend, Alaska Airlines hosted its Summer Bay Area Picnic in San Francisco. The event saw participation from various teams, including McGee Air Services, who enthusiastically contributed to the fundraising efforts.

A Day Filled with Joy

The Summer Bay Area Picnic was not just about raising funds; it was a day brimming with joy, laughter, and community spirit. This family fun event catered to employees across all age groups and interests. Our McGee team members from the Bay Area stations in San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland came together to partake in the festivities.

Making a Difference Far and Wide

The Dunk Tank proved to be a crowd-pleaser, with several brave participants from McGee, like Frank, Wais, Keoni, Ruta, Bernadette, and many others making a splash. The Dunk Tank at the Bay Area Summer BBQ raised $815, which will directly go to the Kākoʻo Maui Fund, a charity committed to supporting wildfire victims in Maui. Furthermore, the Alaska Gives program will match this donation dollar-for-dollar, thereby doubling the original amount and culminating in a generous contribution of $2,000 to aid wildfire relief efforts.

Creating Memories and Giving Back
