McGee Air Services Kicks Off Operations in Everett, WA
McGee is sole ground handler for commercial flights at new Paine Field Terminal
SEATTLE – March 4, 2019 – In conjunction with the start of commercial air service today at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, McGee Air Services Inc. announced the launch of its ground handling operation at the new terminal.
McGee is providing aircraft ground handling and passenger mobility services for all carriers offering commercial flights at Paine Field. By the end of March, McGee will be handling 24 daily departures and arrivals, assisting Alaska Airlines and United Airlines with aircraft marshaling and towing, baggage handling, loading and unloading, cabin cleaning, and passenger support and mobility services.
Propeller Airports, which built and operates the state-of-the-art terminal, decided to use only one ground handler for all airlines that operate there to make the flying experience more efficient, speedy and comfortable for passengers.
“We’re thrilled to be the exclusive ground handler at Paine Field,” said Dean DuVall, President of McGee Air Services. “It’s an honor to partner with Alaska Airlines, United Airlines and Propeller Airports to introduce service at this highly anticipated new location. The Paine Field operation also represents an opportunity to continue to expand our business beyond Alaska Air Group, something that’s an important part of our longer term strategy.”
McGee’s employees are represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) and receive competitive wages, airline travel privileges, health care benefits and the opportunity to earn a monthly performance incentive. McGee is still hiring team members for its Paine Field operation, and is encouraging interested candidates to apply for positions here: www.mcgeeairservices.com/jobs.
